The first large-scale online event of Russia's tourism potential for German-speaking travel professionals. In the context of a global pandemic, the online exhibition has made it possible to create and support the interest of the international community in the tourism product
of Russian regions, and also to present it effectively.


The organizer of the online event is Profi.Travel media holding, with the support of the Federal Agency for Tourism and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives.

A month before RED for German-speaking market online exhibition we held a series of webinars for travel business representatives of the participating regions. The objectives were to adapt their tourism product and to prepare online presentations taking into account the German-speaking market specifics. The participants have learned about preferences and characteristics of the German tourist, as well as the conditions for successful work with German tour operators.

Online presentations for travel professionals from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Liechtenstein. 10 Russian regions have presented their tourism products: Murmansk, Tyumen, Tula, Samara, Novosibirsk and Kamchatka regions, The Republic of Buryatia, Nenets Autonomous region, Saint Petersburg and The Republic of Tyva.

International B2B audience got acquainted with tourist opportunities of Russia, it's must-visit locations, options for both individual and group trips. Online presentations also contributed to establishing effective business communication between the German-speaking and Russian travel markets.

Official opening ceremony with the participation of top officials of the Federal Agency for Tourism, the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, Russian Federation Trade Representative Office in Germany, as well as the Russian Union of Travel Industry branch in Germany.
The speakers shared the most relevant information on e-visa and tax free system topics, updating security protocols in connection with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, new projects and cooperation between Russian and German-speaking travel business, and much more.
