Profi.Travel brings Latin American destinations and the Russian travel trade together at FTT 2026

Representatives from 12 Latin American countries met with Russian travel trade partners and agreed to set up a working group.
Profi.Travel co-organised a session on tourism cooperation with Latin America at FTT 2026. Together with FTT and NC SESLA, and with the support of the Russian Union of Travel Industry, we brought together diplomatic representatives from 12 Latin American countries, tour operators and hotel companies active in the Russian market.
The discussion focused on air connections that tour operators can build into reliable itineraries, joint product development and sustained engagement with the travel trade and consumers. Participants also explored opportunities for two-way partnerships, including in hotel management.
Participants agreed to set up a working group of tour operators and country representatives to address barriers, develop tourism products and pursue new partnerships.
