Arabian countries may become one of the leading outbound travel destinations in 2021/22 winter season
OTM 2021: Arabian Countries online fair will run from 2 to 13 of August. Profi.Travel media holding is the organizer of this event that will become the key for the outbound travel market during winter season 21/22.

How Arab countries open for tourists
This month several things have happened which reinforce the positive trend.
Starting July 1, the emirate of Abu Dhabi will end mandatory quarantine protocols for travelers from other countries. At the moment all the tourists from countries that are not on the green list are required to quarantine for 10 days. Russia's on the green list starting from April. The entry rules of Abu Dhabi will be similar to the current ones of neighboring Dubai.
Another country of the region, Saudi Arabia, plans to reopen to foreign tourists soon.
The report on the website of the Embassy of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom informs that effective on May 20, foreign citizens will be allowed to enter the country without quarantine. They will be required to submit a negative PCR test certificate within 72 hours departing for the country and a valid health insurance policy covering COVID-19 before and upon arrival in the Kingdom.
The entry by tourist visas is banned for now, however the Saudi Tourism Authority CEO Fahd Hamidaddin declared at Arabian Travel Market 2021 that inbound tourism resumption in Saudi Arabia will be announced "very soon".
Air companies show interest in the destination
Amid good news, Russian air companies are preparing for their flight program expansion. A large number of UAE flight permits have recently been issued. Rossiya Airlines is allowed to start flying to Dubai from 10 Russian cities, to Sharjah and Ras al-Khaimah from 7 cities. Ural Airlines also has permits for flights from seven cities to Ras al-Khaimah.
