The first large-scale online event of Russia's tourism potential for Indian travel professionals. In the context of a global pandemic, the online exhibition has made it possible to create and support the interest of the international community in the tourism product of Russian regions, and also to present it effectively. It aroused great interest from both Indian travel companies and an additional audience from Nepal, Bangladesh,
Sri Lanka, the USA and other countries of the world.
The organizer of the online event is Profi.Travel media holding, with the support of the Federal Agency for Tourism and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives.

A month before the RED India online exhibition we held a series of webinars for travel business representatives of the participating regions. The objectives were to adapt their tourism product and to prepare online presentations taking into account the Indian market specifics. The participants have learned about the specifics of communication and accommodation of Indian tourists in Russian hotels, as well as the conditions for successful work with Indian travel agencies.

Online presentations for travel professionals from India, and also for additional audiences from Saudi Arabia, Philippines, Nepal, Bangladesh, USA, Canada and other countries. 8 Russian regions and 1 resort have presented their tourism products: Saint Petersburg, Kamchatka, Murmansk, Amur, Samara, Vladimir, Tula, Krasnodar regions and Krasnaya Polyana.

International B2B audience got acquainted with tourist opportunities of Russia, it's must-visit locations, industrial and nature travelling, options for both individual and group trips.

Official opening ceremony with the participation of top officials of the Federal Agency for Tourism, the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, TAFI (Travel Agents Federation of India), as well as Russian Information Center in India and regional tourism offices.
The speakers shared the most relevant information on e-visa and tax free system topics, tourist products of Russian regions and their adaptation to the needs of Indian tourists, updating security protocols in connection with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, and much more.

There was a networking system organized on the website of RED India online exhibition. With it's help the visitors could ask a question to an expert both online and after the presentation. The exhibiting regions received specific partnership offers already during the online event and held face-to-face meetings with Indian tour operators.
The organizers provided moderation and translation of the meetings.
Besides, the exhibition visitors also had the opportunity to join the WhatsApp group and start communicating with colleagues even before the event.
