OTM Autumn-Winter: 3 exhibitions in 1!

This year OTM Autumn-Winter 20/21 unites 3 online exhibitions in 1, and become one of the most relevant travel industry events.

12 — 31 October 2020, two specialized online exhibitions — OTM: Arabian Countries and OTM: Caribbean Region & America — will be held in the framework of OTM Autumn-Winter 20/21 at Profi.Travel. In this way, the online exhibition will present virtually the whole range of travel destinations for 11 Russian speaking countries (Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Latvia, and Lithuania).

More than 4 000 tourism professionals from 11 Russian speaking countries will visit the event online.
We all are waiting for the outbound tourism restart. Now it's clear it will happen by the autumn-winter season. However, nobody is still sure that market participants will have an opportunity to attend industry events, travel to the regions and hold workshops, roadshows and personal meetings. Online is the safest format that will happen for sure! Therefore, we are doing such a large-scale OTM in cooperation with ANTOR, which will combine three exhibitions and give a chance for exhibitors to communicate with the entire B2B market.
Alex Vengin, CEO Profi.Travel
In a state of uncertainty many tourists already postpone the dates of their summer vacations to autumn and winter. This means that competition among destinations will also grow. Tourism managers also rely on the winter product sales and need a relevant information about it.

OTM business program will include:

  • editorial live broadcasts on the current market situation, with the participation of travel destinations & tour operators' representatives and other players,
  • presentations of the whole variety of winter beach destinations, sightseeing tours, recreational, active and other types of tourism,
  • thematic block about tourism opportunities of the Arabian countries,
  • thematic block of Caribbean and Latin America.
The online exhibition is supported by the Association of National Tourist Office Representatives in Russia (ANTOR)
ANTOR has been a partner of OTM exhibitions since 2017. Now it is even more obvious how valuable communication within the market is, especially during difficult times. That's the reason I consider our interaction with Profi.Travel as very important, as well as our mutual cooperation within the framework of OTM. The online exhibition provides a perfect opportunity for market participants not only to discuss everything that is going on in the industry, but also to have a high quality presentations of touristic products.
Dmitriy Smirnov, Head of ANTOR
In June 2020 OTM Restart has gathered 28 exhibitors and more than 3 600 visitors. The exhibition program included three round tables where Tourism Offices representatives — members of ANTOR — discussed changes of destinations' product and a tourist portrait after travel market recovery.
