OTM ReStart: outbound tourism re-launch for Russia & CIS

Profi.Travel announces Online Travel Mart #Restart exhibition in June. All around the world destinations are gradually easing lockdown restrictions and getting ready to open their borders. The chances are that the tourist season won't be cancelled altogether after all!

To help the Russian market get ready for the restart of sales, Profi.Travel media holding company has decided to hold its traditional seasonal OTM exhibition off-schedule. The new dates are June, 15-28.

With The Korea Tourism Organisation and Thailand Tourism Authority as OTM #Restart partners, 15 other exponents have already confirmed their participation, including Czech Tourism, Catalan Tourist Board, VISITFLANDERS, Vienna Tourist Board, Gran Canaria Tourist Board, major hotel brands and tour operators.

The event is supported by ANTOR (Association of National Tourist Offices' Representatives in Russia). It will open with a virtual round table conference where representatives of the key tourist destinations will reveal their recovery plans and strategies.

Apart from the official opening, OTM program includes several editorial webinars with 19 Tourism Boards and tour operators as their participants, as well as thematic days dedicated to the islands of the Indian Ocean, Africa and Australia.
We have decided to hold an off-schedule online exhibition OTM #ReStart on June, 15 — 28. We believe that outbound tourism will be possible this season after all, albeit to only several destinations.

I really want OTM #ReStart to become the first positive event that will indicate the return of the outbound tourism as it is the sphere where thousands of travel professionals are working.
Alex Vengin, CEO Profi.Travel
Online Travel Mart #Restart on Profi.Travel media holding company platform is virtually the only comprehensive and technologically-advanced alternative to traditional tourism exhibitions that are mostly being cancelled or held with serious restrictions this year.

The audience of the exhibition is more than 3,000 tourism professionals in Russia and CIS.

The exponents include tourism boards, hotels and resorts, airline companies, tour operators, tourist infrastructure objects and destination management companies.
